Hello, I am Natalja.
I work as a Data Scientist in the finance industry. I hold an MSc in Computational Finance, a First Class Honours in Banking and Finance, and I am currently pursuing a part-time PhD in Statistics. I have also passed the IMC and CFA Level I.
But I am not here to talk about my career. I am here because of what I have seen outside of it. Through my personal experience and conversations with friends, family and people outside of finance, I have noticed the same thing again and again: there is a widespread belief that you need a lot of money to start investing, that financial markets are only for the wealthy or that it is all too complicated for "ordinary" people. Some people who work hard and earn a decent salary still struggle financially — not because they do not earn enough, but because nobody ever taught them how to manage, protect and grow their money.
I want to change that.
This is not about getting rich quick. It is about understanding what financial instruments exist, learning to control what you earn, and building the confidence to make your own informed decisions — something nobody can take away from you. You do not need to be rich. You do not need a finance degree. You just need to take the first step.
